After I posted about moving my website from Arvixe Windows hosting account to Azure Websites, I was a bit surprised to receive an email from their Quality Assurance Team.
I could sense sincerity in their email and that they took the time to respond to me as an individual, meant a lot to me. They were/are genuinely trying to hold on to me as a customer and was wanting to resolve my issues for me. I even got a short explanation of why hosting WordPress on Windows wasn’t the way to go and why I should give their Linux hosting a shot, being that WordPress is more suited for that environment.
Arvixe managed to explain all this to me without making me feel like an idiot. To top it off, my Windows hosting account which was set to expire in the next few days, was also extended, so as to give me enough time to migrate my sites across to my Linux account.
Over the next few days, I will be moving each of my sites across to my Linux hosting account. I plan on documenting the process.
Overall, I must say that I am impressed with how Arvixe chose to respond to me. While this doesn’t change the fact that I had a less than desirable experience with their Windows hosting account, I am hopeful that I will have a much better experience with their Linux services and that they will be just as eager to assist me in the future.
Thank you to the members of the Arvixe Quality Assurance Team who reached out to me and were able to convince me to go down this path. I appreciate your efforts and help.
It’s extremely important to offer quality products and services (and constantly improve them), but it is just as important to back it up with excellent customer service, which may make all the difference between a customer choosing to stay or leave.
For now, I have decided to give Arvixe another chance. Time will tell if I have made the right decision.
Thank Sri 🙂
