Thankfulness Challenge: Day 3

This is day three (day 1, day 2) and today, I express my thankfulness for the following.

[box]My Work[/box]

Though I may not enjoy what I do all the time, I am nevertheless grateful and thankful that I am gainfully employed and that I am able to support myself and my family and do all the things we are able to do.

[box]Basic Necessities[/box]

I am thankful for the fact that I am able to eat three meals a day (sometimes more), have clean water to drink, be able to have a shower, have nice clothes to wear and have a roof over my head. I know that many don’t have access to one or more of these basics that I know I (and many of you) take for granted.

[box]Quality of Life[/box]

Though this may seem similar to the point above, reality is that beyond the basics, I am able to enjoy many other things, like having a car to drive around in, being able to eat out, go on vacations, travel in a plane and so on and so forth. There are just too many things to list here. I am thankful for all these things because I am all too aware that many people in the world will live an entire lifetime without ever being able to enjoy any of these things.
