I have had to do this a few times for clients who wanted to use their Mac or iPad to connect to their Windows terminal server.
First, download the app: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/microsoft-remote-desktop/id714464092?mt=8
Now, start the app.
Click “Add Remote Desktop”
Click “Connection name” –> Enter a friendly name –> Click Save
Click “PC name” –> enter server you want to connect to –> Click Save
Click “User name”
User name – enter “domainusername” (without quotes)
Password – (enter your password)
Click Save
Click “Gateway” –> then “Add gateway”
Gateway name –> (enter a friendly name) –> Click Save
Server –> “FQDN address” (without quotes) –> Click Save
Credentials –> Use credentials from connection (default selection)
Click Save
Now select the gateway you just added above as the Gateway for the connection
Click Save.
In the end, your connection should contain the information above.
If all the settings are correct, you should now be able to connect to your corporate server.
Thank Sri 🙂
