Let me share FIVE MAXIMS which have proved helpful guidelines down through the year. I suggest you memorize them!
FIVE IMPORTANT MAXIMS
THE WORK IS SOLEMN, therefore, WE DARE NOT TRIFLE;
THE TASK IS DIFFICULT, therefore, WE DARE NOT RELAX;
THE OPPORTUNITIES ARE PASSING, therefore, WE DARE NOT DELAY;
THE PATH IS NARROW, therefore, WE DARE NOT WANDER;
THE REWARD IS SURE, therefore, WE DARE NOT FAINT.
I wrote those maxims on the flyleaf of my Bible many years ago. May the Holy Spirit write them on our hearts.
